Ubisoft deserves the credit for beating capcom ( the grandfather of high quality horror zombie games!!! ) to the first person survival horror experience . This game is technically a sequel to a early 90s pc game by the name of zombi and actually legitimately the best game of that genre I’ve ever played in my life . It will rarely freeze which really ruins the immersion but that may have been patched to happen less , other than that ever encounter is extremely nerve wracking and the story is really dark. The game truly displays what a true to life zombie post apocalypse would be like . Truly one of the scariest games I’ve ever played , my only gripe is there wasn’t a sequel the next year in a different environment, because I think they nailed this one and in a world where the wiiu got the attention it deserved it would have been worth it . Ubisoft was king of the survival horror zombie game genre and until capcom responds with a resident with actual zombies. The game is on all major platforms, if you want a scare, if you have some chump change , buy this game and watch the monkey go crazy .
