Went to see the film with my entire family and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. Disney did a great job with the storytelling, keeping you engaged through the entire film. The animation and music was beautiful. Loved the expansion on the Lion King universe and I can't wait to see what they do next.

I feel that the movie stays true to what it is, a coming of age story. It perfectly encapsulates what it is to be a 13 year old girl, discovering who you are and who you want to become. Breaking the cycle of generational trauma and obligation, while also being colorful, entertaining, and genuinely funny. For those that think it is inappropriate, that is the reality of what it is to be 13. Deal with it 😉
