I was reluctant to buy this game due to all the bad reviews and therefore waited a few weeks before buying but I regret waiting after playing the game now. Simply put, I think it’s spectacular. The frame rate struggles sometimes but it’s not as bad as people say and doesn’t affect the experience for me. The graphics aren’t the greatest but it’s not like it’s a step back from any prior Pokémon game. I mean, I grew up on Pokémon Red/Blue so I have low demands for graphics. What I love though it’s the open world which is reminiscent of The Legend of Zelda BOTW a little bit. I also love that you get to focus on one of three tasks, gyms, team star (team rocket), or legendaries depending on whatever you feel like doing at that moment. Buy this game, you won’t regret it.
