Definitely lived up to the hype and then some. So much love for comic books and the fandom was poured into this movie that it overflows with creative genius, excitement & mind-blowing action. Funny as hell, superior art direction, an engaging story & much to look forward to in Part 2.

Every now and then, you find a show or song or game in your life, some piece of entertainment media, that overwhelms you with emotions you don't even understand and feel so small in comparison to. But it makes you glad you decided to stay alive despite everything, and maybe makes you want to stay alive longer. For me, this is one of those shows. The visuals, storytelling, character voice performances & especially the music, all of it fuses into a compelling and hard-hitting tale that stays with you long after the credits roll. I hope people don't forget about this show, because I never will. Not for the faint of heart
