This book is very underwhelming. I find it hard to believe a high-school age kid is that obsessed with a culture over 60 years older than him. I get. Having an interest yes, but this written as if a teenager from the 80's is transplanted to a dystopia future. There is no in-between of knowledge or culture. Only 80's pop culture references set in 2045. The protagonist is unlikable, lacking growth and the story is very barebones. Wouldn't recommend unless you like quick and easy reads that don't need much thought to precess.
