Being a massive fan of David Lynch's 1984 Dune (and reading the books), I came to Dune Part 1 and 2 with an open mind.
How anyone who is not a fan of the Dune story can follow these modern films and not be utterly confused is beyond me.
Dune 2's editing was awful in places. A good example is when Paul is sent into the desert to learn how to become a Fremen, which then cuts to him riding a giant worm! Nothing in between.
Sorry, not convinced. I'll stick with the 1984 Dune.

I'm a big fan of Jason Statham, and was looking forward to this film. So disappointed. And the acting of Jeremy Irons was appalling.
