The mother of all period shows. The reason Downton Abbey exists. That peak into the close and not so close world of upstairs downstairs. How regardless of Edwardian efforts the lies of the servants often intersected with the lies of those upstairs. Sometimes with disastrous consequences.

The movie was not what I expected. I lived in West Hollywood when this whole series of events took place. My perceptions of Tammy were colored by some of the infamous interactions that she had in Hollywood. The actress who portrayed Tammy was fearless. She took the character to a place many would not have tried to do so. The movie portrayed the story from Tammy's perspective and at the end you really believed Jesus loves you or at least that was Tammy's feeling
