The character of Deepak Shehgal (Amitabh Bachchan) reminds me the famous character of P. K. Basu created by Narayan Sanyal based under the shadow of Peary Massion by Earl Stanley Gardner (Note : Kanta Sereis); especially when he deleberately leaves some of the witnesses without cross examination.

Anand Kumar taught them Mathematics but what about Physics and Chemistry ? These subjects also needs special preparation. Did Kumar look after those or the students prepared themselves for the IIT examination ? Not cleared.
