Actually, when you understand Suzume was directed by Makoto Shinkai, it feels a little off. He previously set the expectation bar so high (by "Your name" and "Weathering with you") that it's difficult to maintain. The animations team was doing their best. Its 9.5/10 But, its the screenplay and story writing team which ruined it Obviously the previous ones were romance genre this one is adventure genre. If you like adventure, you're gonna like it. Looking forward to some of his best creations.
