Yes one of the best science fiction films that Ive seen over the past 30 years. keeps you on the edge of the sofa from start to end. most if not all of the special effects are first class. Sci Fi films are now getting very dramatic especially with space travel and discovery, but for me still, the best sci fi film ever made is undoubtedly 2001, followed by 2010. 'Knowing' of course is more 'spiritual in a sense and draws the attention towards the unknown future once the earth has perished. The last scenes are very emotional and thought provoking., Thomas Gatrell.
