I don’t always write reviews for films, this is actually the first time I’ve done this. "Finch" is a beautiful and poignant film that explores the bond between a man, his dog, and a robot. Tom Hanks delivers an outstanding performance as Finch, a man who has lost everything but refuses to give up. His companions, his loyal dog, Goodyear, and his robot, Jeff, create a bond that is heartwarming and genuine. What makes "Finch" stand out is the way it subverts our expectations of what a post-apocalyptic film should be. Rather than focusing on the destruction and chaos of the world, the film centers on the emotional journey of its characters. It's a story about love, loyalty, and the human spirit's resilience. The characters in "Finch" represent different aspects of humanity. Finch symbolizes the resilience and perseverance of the human spirit. Goodyear represents the unconditional love and loyalty that dogs bring to our lives. Jeff represents the curiosity, innocence and wonder (as Artificial Intelligence), and his journey to understand and experience love is a touching and innocent experience. The film is full of challenges that the characters must overcome, both external and internal. They must navigate a dangerous and unpredictable world where survival is not guaranteed. However, it's the internal struggles that are the most compelling. Finch must come to terms with his mortality and his legacy, while Jeff must learn what it means to love and be loved. Overall, "Finch" is a triumph of storytelling that will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired. It's a film that celebrates the power of the human spirit and the bonds that connect us all. By the end of the film, you will be moved by the characters' journey and the hope they represent.
