The history channel’s very successful “Vikings” is just to hard to beat! I’m not sure it should have been tied to Vikings at all. I do like Leif Ericksson’s character and Prince Herold as well as King Canute. I love the Jarl Astrid and Queen Emma. The take on surfboards that they used to ambush the guards in the marsh was kind of ridiculous but funny. Being married to a surfer it had made me want to see the history of surfboards now (lol). The battle at the bridge In Lending was good but the rest of the episodes just did not gel for me. Prince Herald's going back to his brothers camp. Why didn’t he go back when he knew the parlay failed? There is so much more but I stayed to the end. I hope season 2 is better.
