I'm just an ordinary viewer. I'll say my thing in simple words. I'll say it as it is, how I see the series . It's intriguing, mysterious, eerie at times, well mostly with the help of the background music, engaging at times, boring at most. I'm always confused with the switching of the past and the present scenes. Though some would deem them as a brilliant style, as they maybe needed for some plot and character development, I'd say on my end, they're a whole lot confusing and annoying to me. Overall, interesting but not enjoyable for me, since most of the time I'm confused and frustrated. Thankfully, in the final episodes, jumbled scenes of the past and present, are connected at last, giving me some respite from all the confusion and gave it a rest.

'Love this film and this new hero. How he acted out well his role, as a cool and collected ex military man, yet a capable and a skilled adversary. He personifies this good, controlled, respectful, dignified and a truly honorable military man in this movie, but driven to some actions against his beliefs and training, because of certain situations that are taken out of his control. My gosh his voice, I fell in love first then the acting. The plot where a veteran military man goes up against these crooked cops, when he's already out of options in a small town, not so original but execution is good. I'm not so much into action but this is a thriller action movie where I got to enjoy the good pacing, a good plot and some subtle hints of certain "isms", that make the film more interesting, engaging and an edge of the seat thriller. 'Enjoyed this. A must watch.

Oh I know most enjoyed this. I'm not sure though. I find some scenes awkward and cringey, they're uncomfortable to watch. There are scenes too that are engaging and funny enough. I like the banter between the two main leads. Overall it's fun. Yeah, if there's something I fell in love with, its the beautiful setting that is Australia.

If this was just loosely based or maybe characters were just fiction or not based on a true story, I'd say this was engaging and interesting enough. The thing is, this was indeed a true event. This was fictionalized so much, that the investigation turned into a circus. I'm left with mixed feelings, whether to like this docudrama or finding this as a joke.

Another woman empowerment film. I always like this kind of films. I find this one a bit dragging though. Also, some loopholes like, where does the box in her arms suddenly come from? Why leave one horse? Yes for obvious reasons from the audience's perspectives, but coming from the characters, why? Another one is the kind of nonchalant initial reaction and attitude of the female protagonist, with regard to some grave circumstances coming her way, concerning the seven thugs. Regardless if she's a tough cookie. You'd somehow expect to see some reaction or fear from the eyes at least. One good thing about watching foreign films though is, I get to learn some deep seated cultures and traditions of their races. I admire here the beautiful rolling hills, the oh so lovely scenic view but rendering some kind of an isolated and desolate feel. The decapitation effects are good too with an almost real life image of a person's head. 'Love some acting coming from the female friend of the lead female. Overall, an okay Indonesian film to watch.

This series had been aired a few years back, but just got to watch it this year at Netflix. Regardless, some spoilers ahead. This is some cute and heartwarming series. A bit slow for my taste, boring sometimes, but story got me hooked. I love a good romantic drama or romcom sometimes. I'm not mostly a fan of any romantic story or series from any country. I mostly enjoy the thriller/suspense genre. The thing is, I'm not so much into the push and pull type of love story. 'Though I understood both the protagonists' situation, I didn't like the parts where around 6 episodes, when they could be together already, still I had to watch a few more, for them to finally be. It got a bit tiring to watch after a while. I guess too, I'm from the old school when it comes to romance. I would want the guy to be the one doing the chasing or pining. Here mostly, the female lead was the one who kept coming to him, despite him wanting to move on and stay away, even begging her to help him move on. He did the pushing most of the time. Again, 'though I understood both their predicaments, still I would have enjoyed this more, if the male lead was more confident of his love and fought more for the heroine. I didn't like the marriage proposal either, done by the girl. Nevertheless, I liked this series. Maybe because I liked both the protagonists. Both leads were endearing. Supporting casts were good too. 'Though the premise of the conflict was a bit more cultural, I understood. I also come from a country where situations like this one, are a bit frowned upon too. Not much though, compared to this country where it seemed to be such a big deal. I liked the sub plot too. Tackling a serious subject about abuse and some good heartwarming family dynamics. Overall, a good series. I'm glad I got to be able to watch this one.

Sure this film captured my attention. I'm a sucker for the thriller/suspense genre. First few scenes were intriguing. Following scenes? Oh my. They got me baffled and frustrated to no end by so many ridiculous, inconsistent and dumb actions of some characters. Engaging as this was, I couldn't just fathom what I watched. More like why I continued watching it. Somehow it got away with something I wouldn't normally let myself be drawn into. Maybe 'twas a good thing. Ridiculous this may seem, this film didn't bore me. Acting wise, both women were good. Plot wise, intriguing and engaging despite many loopholes. Nevertheless, an interesting film, if you just want to be a bit entertained and not be meticulous by the dynamics, or better yet, be okay with the hilarity of the execution and direction.

I'm not a fan of Ms Dakota Johnson because of her previous works, but I'd say I loved her here. I welcome this derivative. Fresh in many ways. It deviates, so what? It has got its own interpretation. My own understanding of an adaptation when it says "based on an original novel or text", well it could be loosely based or it could strictly adhere to the original. What I love about this one is, I was able to connect with the protagonists. I love the "breaking the fourth wall" style. I felt connected. I was able to empathize. I felt the love and longing through their eyes and facial expressions. And for me that's, lovely, entertaining and engaging. The male hero for me as opposed to what others say, did his part well. He shows his vulnerability and longing when he's around her, not always so stoic and angry. I appreciated that. So because of this, I felt their love and connection when they finally got together. My favorite 'though is the 2007 adaptation.

Despite some issues and what others say as soapy, this series truly engaged me. I enjoyed it. Some parts even tugged at my heartstrings. I didn't like the second season though, despite some meaningful and deep thought inducing scenes and dialogues there. Not that I'm complaining about the way things changed from the third season, which by the way is my most liked season, but I was kind of rolling my eyes by the sudden180 degrees turn about of Peyami the main lead actor, when it came to Esvet (female lead). This considering his decisions and interactions with her from the second season. I loved most the superb acting of the three main male actors. I felt the passion and some encompassing strong emotions, emanating from their well acted out roles. Some say it was OTT acting, but for me these men are incredible actors, especially the mentally challenged father of Peyami, Mustafa. Sets and settings were beautiful. The music, so lovely and one of the main factors for me that made this series engaging and delightful to watch. It somehow made me feel I was watching something from a different era from a long ago world. A period piece to be exact. Overall, a well crafted series for me, worth rewatching.

I saw this from Netflix.. cute series.. a bit boring in some episodes.. a bit long when it could have been shortened into lesser episodes.. I like the girl but she's frustrating.. such a pushover in most episodes.. I didn't like the male lead at first but he grew on me.. they're always wearing coats or winter outfits.. one thing I'm wondering though is the never ending winter/cold season.. it says the female lead is almost a year in the company.. so time has passed surely.. Overall I like it.
