I am a huge fan of the Witcher from the games as well as the books. I have played and beaten the games many times and read the books. I am a fan of many games or books such as this, and I am really, really tired of Netflix actively disliking the source material that it decides to adapt. I am really tired as a fan of Netflix repeatedly purchasing the rights to the things I love and ruining them and then blaming the fans for not liking their terrible product. The ONE redeeming quality of this show was Henry cavil and they have now replaced him. What a huge middle finger from Netflix to us fans. I have watched both seasons, twice, and Henry carried the show on his back. Without him it would be as pointless and poorly written as a prime original. Yet another franchise that Netflix couldn’t resist taking a big steamy dump on. The Witcher show wasn’t that good anyways, but I watched because Henry as geralt was captivating and kept me invested. An actor who really cared about the character and story he portrayed. I am eagerly looking forward to the day that Netflix completes its evolution into blockbuster and crashes to the ground for good.
