This movie is incredible. If you’re after a Vietnam war movie where we go against Charlie, Charlie attacks, and we retaliate, go watch Stanley Kubrick’s, “Full Metal Jacket”. This movie is more of a “search and destroy” of a lunatic in the soulless jungles of Cambodia right outside Vietnam, and man’s mission is to put a stop to this corrupted guy’s tyranny by any means necessary. You definitely get great combat scenes in this masterpiece, but not the point of the movie, as stated. The actors do a phenomenal job in this, and I totally recommend watching. How far will man go to kill someone that’s crazy before the craziness takes over himself? The best word for this movie, powerful.
