Knowing the history and the story and having actually visited Heritage USA years ago as well as having enjoyed the PTL program back then (specifically because of Tammy Faye's childlike sincerity) , I enjoyed the film. The acting, the typecasting, the presentation of the chronology of events without overdoing the details made this an excellent movie.I laughed, I cried. It was touching. It was disturbing. Sexual content was startlingly honest and thankfully brief and I felt necessary to convey honest portrayals of character. I wont be surprised to see awards for this film.
Fantastic.
