The movie provided a glimpse into the inner workings of influential figures. However, the drawback of this film was Gillian Anderson's performance. In the first half, her portrayal seemed reminiscent of her role as Margaret Thatcher. As the movie progressed, her character lost authenticity, mirroring previous mannerisms and vocal delivery. Yet, in the latter part of the film, particularly during the interview scenes, she captured the essence of the character more effectively.
