Thoroughly enjoyed Rome. Excellent writing and story, great action sequences, fabulous vignettes detailing everyday life in Ancient Rome, unexpectedly funny humour, engaging Butch and Sundance kind of chemistry between Pullo and Vorenace, some steamy sex scenes - what is there not to like? Don’t expect Rome to be a history lesson. Lots is overlooked and divergent from real events. Just a pity that it didn’t run for its intended 5 seasons as season 2 could have used some fleshing out. All in all though Rome was amazing
