Andrea Aldridge is one of my favorite singers. Her alto/tenor voice lends itself well to chanteys, and really lends a haunting quality to her music. She and The Pilots of Tiger Bay sing traditional chanteys and ones they created new. If you're into the sea and sailing, you will love this album!
Be sure to look up the group Broadsides as well; another one that Andrea partnered in.
