The latest of the Alien series has a rather simple and predictable plot. It's not a bad movie, it's just not as interesting or thrilling as the ones before it. The first half of the movie dragged on and the latter half was full of CGI that didn't even make my 8-year-old niece believe it. I was glad this was not a cliffhanger movie and had a proper ending.

Good job destroying a classic horror series with politics. An utterly disgusting "political" movie without any "horror" elements. Save your money and avoid watching this at all costs.

I don't usually give perfect scores but I can relate to this movie a lot. Like how to compromise with others to have a strong relationship. Lastly, I did play the game and boy it was frustratingly fun!

All I can say is this pales to all of Hayao's work. I can picture him walking out & smoking to calm down after watching this one. Goro will never be his father. I have not seen one of the films that he directed that lingered magically until adulthood yet. This might be okay for the younger viewers because it's vanilla.
