This morning's David Seymour interview revealed the intent of the Act Party to recolonise our Māori nations. This, despite generational inequities that continue to undermine Māori. He ignores the exceptional work of our people, past and present, to strengthen Māori, to become high functioning, and to enjoy all benefits the dominant culture has taken for granted. Māori academics, Judges and other highly skilled sectors of society cannot be part of the 'blame-game' that David Seymour is playing out. This is a very familiar tactic, it is highly offensive and means to exterminate Māori culture.
