I’m surprised by the low ratings. I enjoyed it and didn’t think the pace was too slow at all (as others have written). The acting is great, as well as the writing. It was a slow start (not annoyingly so) to a strong finish, except now I’m craving for that 2nd season to come. I hope it gets renewed.

Goes from meh to Bad to worse. I watched the whole season wondering if I was missing something that may magically pull everything together at the end. The writing and narratives are all over the place. Everything is wrong about this, except it has some fine actors in it… actors who have been better in other shows —but bad writing can never create a good performance even out of the best actor. Really atrocious —bland, boring, soft core porn that isn’t the least bit exciting despite how beautiful Keough is. I’m embarrassed that this was her big debut—she deserves something finer, something better. And Paul Sparks is too good for this as well. So many non-sequitur narratives that never play themselves out. This is real amateur hour in every way. Kinda parallels the ridiculously boring story lines regular porn videos are known for, except that it’s all on “ice” — everyone is so icy, detached, mean, and f’d up.
