Every time I picked up Regnum Terra, I knew I'd be trapped. It's an absolute page-turner! My favorite books make my heart race as I read and this one did it again and again. Penner's novel is vibrantly painted with beautiful scenery and complex characters. Hazel's mundane world, suddenly turned treacherous, makes one question if any of their own reality is really what it seems. Her struggles and worries about discovering her identity and power is an important message for anyone wrestling to understand their true potential. I absolutely recommend Regnum Terra because I think we all need to get in touch with our inner warrior and get to know the gravitational forces of magic, fate, and love. Can't wait for book 2!
