The cast here is absolutely incredible, even the child actors are phenomenal. Funny, charming and well directed, a beautiful film.

In 2025, what a classic this is. Charming, innocent and quite the adventure. True to the character of Mr Bean and the setting of France + a few interesting characters along for the ride make for an entertaining, heartfelt and hilarious Mr Bean story for the family to enjoy.

Inspired by Richard Donner's films and Christopher Reeve's performances as Superman, director Bryan Singer and his new star Brandon Routh both do a good job. Routh is especially good as Clark Kent, both at the Daily Planet in Metropolis and at home with his mother Martha Kent. Kevin Spacey is fantastic as villian Lex Luthor. The action sequences are spectacular and well executed for their time, still holding up quite well in 2025 but they are sparse throughout the film so don't expect much action. Overall, 2006's Superman Returns is a romantic, emotionally driven homage to the beloved Superman films of the late 70's and early 80's with a fresh new cast, great special effects, and musical score that soars high.

This film is a fairly strong start to a new Superman franchise, unlike other non-starters before it. Superman/Clark Kent is brilliantly casted here and the chemistry between him and his Lois Lane (Rachel Brosahan) is the best we've seen on the big screen since the days of Christopher Reeve and Margot Kidder. Mister Terrific steals the show in several sections of the film and the humour may be a bit misplaced for some, but it is a solid film with great performances, exhilarating action sequences and beautiful cinematography. It will leave you feeling inspired, this is "Superman".
