Gentefied is so well done. It’s a shame that Netflix leadership cancelled this series after two seasons, I felt like I had an inside view of a Mexican family in east LA through great acting which brought the nuances of their day:day lives to each episode allowing you to feel their pain and joy in full entertaining cultural immersion. The show was edgy at times, funny other times and earnest to a fault. Perhaps not the adjectives Netflix execs with their hand on the algorithm throttle are looking for perpetually panning for top 10 gold but like hot chicken soup on a cold winter day, this show was soul soothing. p.s. please reconsider and bring back season 3…
