THAT. ENDING. IS. INSANE. A truly haunting and thrilling novel. I know McCain is known for his horror and he doesn't shy away from moments in this, but this is much more of a suspense thriller and I think it's one of his best. The opening pages will linger in your nightmares and that last pages will blast you out of your seat.
