From an avid FS user from its v1.0 days, this version is not enjoyable. The list of squawks is huge, from the slow startup, inability to make minor tweaks to your environment without having to back completely out, to the truly non-standard ATC dialog and non-functional cockpit switches - I could go on and on. I investigated getting a refund but no such option exists. So I will just chalk this up as a learning experience. Did these guys ever use FSX or were any of the developers pilots? Caveat: FS is the only game I have played on the computer. My kids tell me that initial releases are usually buggy and that features are added as time goes on and the bugs are corrected. Having bought every release since 1.0, this is a completely new (and unpleasant) paradigm. Back to FSX for this user.
