Better than I expected... Acting, dialogues, actions, animation, everything seemed on point. Not a fan of romance, still loved the push-and-pull kind of romance between the leads. Other characters touched my heart too, like Young Lady Jin! At times, some scenes might seem rushed. Overall, it is a worth-watching fantasy period drama. If you don't find magic and fantasy nonsense, this one's for you...

Watched it to take a break from rom-com, and was not left disappointed. Like most K-Dramas, casting seemed perfect. What makes it different is the intertwining supernatural elements with reality. The ending I expected to be a happy one, and it was, but a tinge of pain came along. Main and second leads were good, but the villain was terrific. The plots and their twists keep you engaged, while supernatural elements make sense all along. The negatives one can find (subjective and not negative for me) is that the flow slows down sometimes, especially the last episode. Typical "Love Conquers All" kind of theme is repeated but not in the typical way. Other than that, it is a fantastic K-Drama, worth watching in supernatural genre.

This K-Drama is for those who want a change in genre from comedy or serious stuff having a happy ending, as it is an atypical rom-com with some serious turns of events. The seriousness is not in the situations or incidents but the emotions of characters. There is a mix of cringe-worthy stuff too that is too much even for me who loves aigyos a lot. The characters were better than the story itself, with some being too good to be true. NANA (aka Im Jina) was the revelation for me. Beginning the show with an over-the-top acting, as her character required, the mature serious end deserves a lot of praise. Lee Min Ki also was perfect as the role seemed tailor-made for him. Their mothers were sweetly characterized too. I did not expect much as I was watch it on low resolution, and hence was not disappointed. The second-lead syndrome will get you if you are vulnerable to it. The show wasn't perfect, but for me it was a good break from content-heavy K-Dramas.

It is a simple, beautiful K-Drama that has been categorized as "Slice-Of-Life". According to me, it should be categorized as "Underrated". I needed a break from rom-com genre and chose this one. It was sweet and unconventional. Glad to come across it and watch it. If you are looking for glamour, flashy stuff, loud entertainment, stay away from this one. It is mostly serious and simply not meant for mass entertainment. I am giving it 5-stars as it impressed me and delivered more than I expected from it. Actors, as usual, played their parts well and could not find anyone under-performing or over-acting.

Being a musical, it reminded me of Disney fairytales that I did not like, as they were just too girly. The Sound Of Magic has no such problem as it is not a fairytale at all, but a simple presentation of a ugly realistic situation that magic simply made bearable and, for the moment, beautiful. The actors, terrific; the songs, beautiful; the story, simple and effective; overall this was a brilliant short piece (only 6 episodes) but packed a punch. Highly recommend everyone to watch it, and let me know - Do you believe in magic?

Leaving certain disconnect from reality aside, this K-Drama seemed to have everything I look for in a K-Drama. Good story, good humour, multiple characters and plots, and good acting. Being a fan of Choi Soo Bin, I was prepared to watch it simply for her, but was impressed by Go Kyung Pyo again. So much so that I started finding Choi Soo Bin's character underwhelming in comparison by the end. Had I been expecting realistic content, I would have given it a 3-star rating, but I knew what to expect from it. It satisfied me up to the expectations. Will definitely recommend it...

A crazy, yes, crazy slice-of-life drama showcasing some complicated characters and their some predictable and many unpredictable interactions. Romance is atypical in this K-drama, and that was interesting for me at least (I am a weirdo, so you might not like it). All actors are terrific, and plot goes from serious stuff to dark humour at times without warning. Wished to watch more of Seo Ji Hye, but that is my biased opinion. I hope you like it...

This is just another K-Drama, and in my experience every K-Drama is fantastic. The storyline was great, presentation great, comical relief great, serious plots great, along with every actor being their best or even perfect self. However, I would give it 4.5 (though they look 4 out of 5 stars) despite having some unexpected turns because some critical moments, and scenes in between, seemed unnecessarily rushed, just like the end. Worth-watching nonetheless, and hopelessly romantic might give this K-Drama a 5-star rating. Fell in love with Kang Han Na in this one...
