I could rant on and on about this movie but I won't take much time I just want to state my opinions on the movie such as the overall story and the characters. This will contain spoilers but I think the story was amazing and it continuously flowed and worked very great from one scene to the next. I loved how they started the film and how they lead into the flashbacks which I'm glad they split them up to create a good flow. I loved how they ended the story and it was satisfying and they didn't have to kill anyone off to make the story work and make it end. It did an amazing job creating a darker tone being marvel's darkest movie yet in my opinion and I love that and how they shifted from funny to dark was amazing and it worked way better than the other mcu movies ever have and I just love how it focused on the story and it developed the characters as well and felt like a movie and not something that was just supposed to come out and it felt disconnected from the mcu that I love.I loved Peter's arc a lot and I liked how him and gamora worked and they didn't make them get back together but instead it fit the story and didn't end how a fairytale would end and I admire that and what James Gunn did, I loved how he had to learn to move on from that but also accepting his past and finding out more even having to leave the guardians. Gamora was amazing and I loved her relationship with everyone else and her trying to make everyone accept she's not who everyone remembers. Rocket was amazing in this movie I loved his backstory and how dark it was and they were willing to do that and even nebulas comment on how it was worse than her torture and honestly it was so sad everytime seeing his flashbacks and that last scene where all of his friends dying and him attacking the high evolutionary and then him having to let go of the past opposite of Peter and now him leading the guardians is amazing. I loved groot in this movie more than any other groot and I love how he's so fierce and funny and it's just amazing. I love Drax and how he's the only team member that isn't depressed despite his past and that he becomes a dad at the end because that's what he's meant to be. I loved Nebula's arc and her learning to accept herself and let go of her past and not being so hating of others. I love Mantis being the glue of the team and showing strength on the battlefield and emotionally and helping quill. I loved Kraglin learning the arrow and the way to his heart and listening to yondu and seeing him again it was heartwarming and his relationship with cosmo and the whole bad dog thing I loved and found it very funny. I enjoyed Adam Warlock and found him very funny as like a side villain and he starts the conflict and he's working to save his people, he acts like a child and it was hilarious and I wanted a bit more but his arc of finding the right people was sweet and I lived him saving Peter. I loved the villain and thought it was a perfect fit and he was so cold and seeing him in the past and seeing him get beat up was like justice I think his motive is amazing and his execution and he just makes a very good villain and the acting was amazing. Overall the acting was amazing, James Gunn did a fantastic job ending the trilogy and these characters I liked how they handled the end without killing everyone and letting them go their own way it was very satisfying and heart warming and it was probably one of my favorite movies of all time.
