The movie perfectly introduces Mario world with almost every aspect of the Mario world. a really well written story to introduce the world of Mario.
Unfortunately, it's doesn't explain at all what are those powerups or where they come from. But, I am sure it will be included in the sequel.
Overall rating 7.5-8 out of 10.
Animation 11/10
story telling 6/10 +2 because it's just an intro to Mario's world.
