The game is great. Is it perfect? No. To be fair, no game could have lived up to the hype built for it. The game is very ambitious which probably lead to so many bugs making it into the final product. Had the hype and previous delays not happened they probably would have held back longer to fix more.
With that said, there are some bugs. When enemies die, the physics cause extremely weird contortions with their limbs. This isn’t happening just occasionally. It is almost each kill. Motorcycles hover off the ground when doing things like jumping off a curb. The driving is very finicky as well.
With all of that said, the game hasn’t crashed or failed to complete any missions (about 12 hours in).
I love open world games. This one has an intricate world that feels alive. I love the quests, the characters etc...
I acknowledge the bugs can be jarring but not in a game breaking way for me.
Also, I am running 32gb Ram. M.2 SSD. 2080 Super. 10700K. I have ray tracing off. I have DLSS on. Running 1440. All settings are on their highest setting. I consistently run 70 - 100. Frame rates have not dipped below 70 in the busiest parts of the city. The game looks fantastic (other than the physics issues mentioned earlier).
I recommend it at full price but be ready for the physics issues.
