Quasi spoilers ahead. Two characters are life long friends, but one is not there for the other when the other is clearly in distress, even to understand what’s bothering him? Distressed character calls the police and gives enough detail to warrant a search, but not enough to solve the crime? A character is seen stealing, gets caught, and the cops give him Back what he stole? Another character witnesses a crime, stops to help, but waits a day or two to tell the police, giving the bad guy enough time to make things tidy? The only answer to each is: we’re trying to make a two hour movie, so cut us some slack. I tried. Pass.
