I am of the classic style fan base. The opening CGI scene had me impressed and very hopeful for a great movie. Sadly, anything good to say about the film ends there. Indiana is emasculated, punched in the face so he will shut up, and shown up by his “god-daughter” with unexplainable awful morals and family values at every single turn. I will forever have the image of “Helen Shaw” (aka the better female Indiana who isn’t even attractive) pronouncing the middle of the chase scene that she is a strong independent woman etc… etc… while Indy is wallowing in the dust barely keeping up. This is the only Indiana Jones movie where he doesn’t have a gun on his waist and I mean that in more than a simple metaphor. If you liked the previous movies, I recommend skipping this butchery.
