Even though the idea of Netflix creating another adaptation of Anne of Green Gables sounded like a great idea, inevitably, it has too many dark issue along with much controversy.
If anyone ever read tge story or watched an older adaptation, every one up to this point had kept its sense of innocence so much so, it can be considered for the entire family.
In Netflix, you have graphic periods, lgbtq+ characters being introduced when that topic isn't apart of the series, terrifying looks into her past at the orphanage. It's fine to attempt a realistic approach, but it's just too graphic and not appropriate for all ages
