I do not believe this was a 5-star movie, but it is criminal what some movie snobs have been saying about this film. Is the plot simple? Yes, it is. Are there logical inconsistencies? Of course there are, most movies are fraught with them, and this one is no different. But does the movie fail to entertain? Absolutely not, and the people who say otherwise are either pretentious or extremely narrow minded. This movie probably won’t knock your socks off, but the environment was super cool, and the action was fun. ALSO… Adam Driver’s performance was fantastic as per usual, and Ariana Greenblatt did a great job as well. I am often times annoyed by children in movies, and this was certainly an exception to that. 65 was a solid movie, and with a 90 minute run time, it didn’t overstay it’s welcome.
