Ray Ray

As an owner of all Jane Austin’s books and the fact that Pride and Prejudice is my favorite movie of all time. I must say I was a bit taken aback when I first clicked on this. I immediately associated Dakota with her past work and I judged her before giving this project a chance. I denied myself the completion of this movie for months. I even watched the original 1995 Persuasion movie and loved it to bits. But when I finally decided to put all else aside and watched this new version right through with very little expectations. Granted, Anne speaking and looking directly at the camera took some getting used to, but at the end, I actually felt it wasn’t bad at all. Not fantastic, but not bad at all.
