I was reluctant at first to read this book but once I started reading I could barely take my eyes off of it. The story was perfectly told with suspense that kept me wanting for more. I was fully immersed in the story as I,at times, felt heart broken about some events and then joyful about others. I was sad for the mother's grief and at some point I was praying for Ben and Obembe to get away with the murder of Abulu to save the poor woman from more grief. It's a great book all in all.
