I have a problem with King adaptations, as in I've never seen a good one. The issue stems from the fact that while Stephen King is arguably the best writer of the twentieth century if not the best since Dickens, the people who write the screenplays aren't. This is a lazy adaptation of a great book that didn't need to be given the treatment that ruined the shining, green mile, dark tower and every other King masterpiece. But far the biggest insult ( apart from changing the story halfway through for no good goddamm reason and nuclear zombie family that is) is the coverband used at the end to play the Ramones classic "pet sematary"...why?
