Wow.... I've been seeing this show in my recommended list for months and finally decided to watch it now. Episode 3 just started and I shut it off within 5 minutes. Every episode is just constant screaming and fighting and it was extremely irritating. I'm sure it's probably a good show, based off the great reviews. But I literally feel anxious listening to these people, even when I'm looking away from the screen. I tried.

I'm surprised so many people like this, because I didn't. I'm borderline obsessed with anything Marvel and this felt NOTHING like something from the MVU It was like I was watching a film on the Disney/Family channel, just slightly darker. There is this corny show called Descendants, where the children of famous Disney Princesses/Villains all have powers and sing and all that childlike stuff. That's exactly what this movie reminded me of. They threw Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie in here, to make it seem like big things were going to happen. But it was just lacking, in every aspect.

Yeah.... they need to stop messing with classics now. I tried to ignore the fact that I don't like Camila Cabello (Cinderella) in real life for being racist.....and just enjoy the film. I've enjoyed many films where I dislike the actor. But after 20 mins of this, I was so done. As a kid who grew up in the 90's, watching her steal the ENTIRE song "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree (not a snippet, the whole song, word for word) and act like it's hers. I couldn't understand what I was watching or what it has to do with Cinderella. They REALLY need to stop remaking these films now, as this was a musical that we really didn't need (or want) lol. I feel like the only people who would like this, are the ones obsessed with Glee or High School Musical. Those are my honest thoughts.

This show is really good and worth the watch. I really like the storyline for the main characters Michaela and Ben (played by Josh Dallas). Michaela's character is a horrible actress though. It's ironic... Josh Dallas played "Prince Charming" in the show Once Upon A Time and his daughter was identical to his sister Michaela in this show. Tall, blonde, always wearing an infamous leather jacket and tons of over-acting. Just a random side note. I like that there are so many twists and turns in this show and I'm about to start Season 2. Whether you're into phenomenon, drama, or suspense, there's a little something for everyone to watch.

This is SO bad lol.... I'm only 30 mins in and they went from a car crash, to people not sleeping. No build up, climax, explanation, nothing. It tried to be like Bird Box, then after one day it turned into The Purge, for no reason. I'm only finishing this to see if it could possibly get worse. (Edit: It gets worse. This movie made NO sense. And it's not one of those mind twists that some ppl get and some don't. It's just a full out trash movie.... Don't do it.)

*Spoiler Alert Warning* This was NOT a great movie lol. I remember when The Craft came out in the 90s and to this day, I can't watch that or Practical Magic in the dark. But this "Legacy" remake? If a Disney cast tried to make a horror movie, you'd end up with this. It's not frightening in the least and there are SO many holes. There is no explanation for anything that goes on...... How did they learn to use their powers? Why did the step-father kill Timmy? How did her mom end up dating and moving her in with warlocks (what are the chances of that)? The black girl drew a fire bubble and looked as confused as i was lol. I just couldn't take it seriously. When I saw that Blumhouse was behind it (he did The Purge, Halloween, Get Out and Paranormal Activity), I was shocked at how poorly this was done. I wouldn't encourage anyone who loves the original to suffer through this.

Listen.... I LIVE for anything Marvel. I literally wait for anything from the MCU to come out. But this had me so bored out of my mind lol... It has all these big names yet nothing happened with them. It's filmed in front of a giggling audience, but nothing is funny (like, at all). Nothing about this feels like Marvel and I'm very disappointed that I watched it for nothing. Can't win me all I guess.... I definitely think these 5 star reviews are gravely exaggerating.
