Discovered this movie this morning on HBO. There are so many movies out there that never get discovered or earn their best recognition. This movie was beautiful. Take the time and see it. The dynamics Matt Dillon's character and his wife. The relationships with the granddaughter and the inevitable trip to Italy she takes him on are special and epic filled with humor and humility. To have a mom and/or dad with a sickness as you care for them hurts so badly. But the stimulation of the grandchildren leading to the joy of days for the elder parents is the best feeling in the world. I'm glad I saw this movie today. May God protect all children, grandchildren and elder parents as they survive Dementia ad Alzheimer's. What his granddaughter did was powerful.
