This movie made me feel like a little girl, a woman, all at once. It perfectly described the transition of child/girlhood into womanhood and the constant struggle with the expectations of each. The portrayal of Ken was impeccable representing just how quickly things can be taken away from women by men whilst also perfectly showing how they don’t know what they are doing it is all subconscious ( you don’t blame ken) it is the society that has set up and the manipulation of peoples feelings that creates unjust situations. I give greta gerwig my heart for making this movie a love letter to all alone it made me feel safe and accepted as a girl, a woman and a barbie which we all are!
