This season has to be the worst set of contestants ever. Why? Most of the teams can’t actually use a map or navigate or communicate effectively, which has led to more drama and scenes in cars than before. I don’t watch Amazing Race for the drama (if I did I would watch Survivor which has become more about Big Brother-antics than surviving on an island, which is a disservice to Big Brother), I watch for the travel around the world and engaging in different local activities. When teams can’t even get from point A to point B without a phone, don’t be surprised when they complain about challenges or whinge about being in a different country the entire time or take it out on the locals and each other. If the show keeps going down this route, change the name to “Road Trip” cause there’s nothing “Amazing” about getting lost and taking it out on your partner because you can’t use a map.
