The most underrated work regarding this incident.
The series did an amazing job. While it is a dramatized version of the incident, it did an amazing job in showing the perspectives of the people both inside and outside the cave. The show pays homage to the parties involved in the rescue of the boys from the US and Thai navies, the engineers from Singapore, Thailand, and the two Australian divers who were called into the rescue, which really showed the amount of work that was put into the rescue.
The show absolutely shined in developing it's characters. We get scenes dedicated to the parents of the children who were trapped in the cave, the engineers who too wanted to get the boys out. Said children and their coach, Eak, as well as the navy Thai Navy Seal who gave his life in the rescue. We really emphatize with the characters, their desperation, their hope and their relief as the boys were finally rescued.
While it cannot call itself the most accurate depiction of this rescue, it can definitely go down as a heartfelt retelling.
