This movie was so ill thought out. It feels very lazy. The just sort of glaze over the details in what i consider to be a very clumsy lazy way.
Spoiler alerts: The clone somehow has an identical personality of likes and dislikes of the original guy. This movie has just decided that its all nature and no nurture. They had vastly different upbringings yet somehow it didn't impact them in the slightest. The cloned guy doesn't actually seem bothered by the fact that he got cloned. Mostly he is just upset that the random bad guy is trying to kill him. Plus, the clone who was raised by the bad guy, as his son, was really quick to turn against his dad, why? Presumably he was somewhat of a good father, and even if he wasn't, people who are abused by their parents still have a strong albeit strange loyalty to their parents. They just skimmed over any of the scientific details to the point where it was clear no one was intended to question whether or not it could actually work. It was just like yea obviously there are clones out there, without any health problems or issues. Even small details like how he has a chip in his arm so they could track him was clumsy. They took out what was frankly a giant chip from his bicep. cell phones have smaller chips than that, but no he didn't notice a huge chip in his arm for presumably years. Absurd. When his fellow friend soldier died, he was marginally upset. he like elbowed a wall, but that was like it. like oh dang it, i got a parking ticket.
I could honestly go on, there is just so many holes, and things that don't make any sense in this movie.
Probably just skip it
