Hazel Joy Lozada

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I am not a comic book fan but have watched a fair share of superhero movies, X-men franchise, Marvel, and DC movies. David captured the character of Superman well. He is an overwhelmingly good person to everyone around him. He is a very endearing and aspirational figure. I am excited for adults and kids alike. Personally, I like this Superman better than the previous one. The previous one was too serious for my taste. This Superman has a personality but not boring to watch at all. I also liked the role of Lois Lane better in this film than the previous one. This feels like an ensemble movie even though the focal person is Superman.

Based on a true story. Quite underrated in the box office but masterfully told. Wonderful cast and tends to be a tearjerker, suspenseful with some light moments sprinkled in. What I appreciate are the quiet moments of the film that emphasizes the emotional weight of the story told. I believe this is most effective because the aim of the film is raising awareness and care.
