I can absolutely see why this book is coming to the big screen.. I’m interested to see the written screenplay. I love the writing style in a sense Hoover is great at keeping you going and honestly and spoiler alert here.. when she let the character say the continuous and gratuitous sex scenes were getting boring I said yes out loud.. they were getting there but she hooked you back in.. I think this would be a great series book as there were holes in character development and then explanation, it felt there was knowledge to be desired but it ended like a fairytale escape with a confusing little twist.. My senior English teacher loved the phase “use concrete particulars” to bind your story and I felt that might have been missing making it to me a screenwriters dream.
