For any of the conservatives on here negatively reviewing the documentary like it's some kind of secretive lefty political agitprop: the reason this film might seem 'biased' in accurately portraying terrible people as such, is because they are. Count up how many people in this film have been indicted and/or convicted of federal crimes - including misleading voters, tampering with witnesses, obstructing justice, and attempting to foment a presidential coup - and maybe take stock of whether the problem is with the film's directors, or if (hear me out) it's with the motley crew of proto-fascist millionaires, billionaire-funded yuppie brats, and comically villain cretins who have intentionally inserted themselves and their constant steam of disinformation into American political culture in order to undermine faith in elections, generate ludicrous conspiracy theories that dominate press cycles and online news aggregators, and broadly advocate positions that are indistinguishable from the kinds of racist, anti-semitic rhetoric that used to be contained within dedicated white supremacist and Neo-nazi circles back in the 80s and 90s. Not to mention that these folks also seek to accumulate maximum clout and profit by doing so (via likes, follows, clicks, and views). Roger Stone, Steve Bannon, Jack Burkman and Jacob Wohl have all been convicted on felony charges and Alex Jones was found guilty in multiple states (including that liberal bastion, Texas) for a host of crimes that stem from him lying about the Sandy Hook Elementary School massacre and harassing the victims' families for years, like a total psychopath. Despite all this, the filmmakers still manage to give these grifter criminals, as well as some of their funders & minions, the space in this documentary to tell their own stories, in their own words. And they do so in the context of an important documentary that, in saner times, would be lauded as required viewing by all U.S. citizens. Anyone who thinks this film makes these kind of people intentionally 'look bad' will likely hold the same angry grudge against mirrors.
