[Minor Spoilers?]
(Only because the film is intentionally confusing at the start.)
While it's technically not the worst film I've ever seen, It was far from good.
The story tries to reel the audience in by making the start of the film confusing, with things just "being there" and throwing what is supposed to be a semi-dramatic/serious moment before the audience is even shown (or rather, told) who the characters are and what they are doing. Unfortunately, as the plot, characters, and location are revealed, none of them were very interesting, and there wasn't anything that couldn't be guessed beforehand (except for maybe one minor reveal at the end with one of the characters).
None of the concepts presented in the film were original, from the way the world works to how anything behaves to the story itself, which felt like a bunch of basic concepts from similar stories and movies mashed together (with nothing unique being done to them). ). The film tries to be mysterious, but fails because of how easy it is to figure out everything (especially once you realize that they aren't doing anything new with any of their concepts.) Even the "big" twists were nothing that I haven't seen done before.
Their are many instances where the characters don't act like real people probably would, making some scenes come off as robotic (on top of "formulaic", due to unoriginality). In addition to that (and partly because of it), it's hard to actually root for any of the characters. There's only one character that I found myself actually caring about, because they're the only one that doesn't do anything horrible to anyone else. The other characters in the film could probably be described as "Controlling and Selfish", "Somewhat Horrible", "Very Horrible", and "Monstrously Terrible", despite the film attempting to portray them as "Average".
Despite being unoriginal, the film didn't execute all elements of its story terribly (though they were predictable), and it had a few interesting (but once again, unoriginal) visuals thrown in there. In addition, while this wasn't really a "So Bad It's Good" film in my opinion, there's a quote at one point that was humorous due to it's ridiculousness. Overall, this film isn't the worst thing in the world, it was far from good. Even if you're watching a movie with friends, consider picking something else first (unless you're intentionally looking for the type of film I just described). I can still kind of see this being a film being put on in the background, if you need to for whatever reason.
