This movie is one giant dick joke the male creator tried to hide behind the guise of two leading lady lesbians. The editing is fun and the acting is good, but there’s no real exposition to make you care about the characters. The best thing I can say about the jokes is that they made sense. The plot is contrived. At least the random 70s transition scenes have Miley Cyrus. At one point one of the main characters drills a hole through her fence so she can watch her female neighbor swim naked. I know this will be shocking to men — but it’s still nonconsensual even if a lesbian does it. I love that this movie is LGBT+ positive, but adding lesbians doesn’t make up for the fact that the entire plot is still predicated around the male gaze. It’s played out. There was nothing to play in the first place. You’d be better off playing with yourself instead.
