The show is really not as bad as a lot of people say it is.
Sure the writing can be tighter and the pacing faster.
Honestly, the fight sequences and watching Qimir and Osha relationship develop on screen was the real draw for me.
The Acolyte has me asking the following things:
What if everything we know about the Force is all Jedi Order propaganda? What if the Force is really something mystical and unknown that anyone can wield?
What if the Jedi Order can be corrupt enough to limit the use of the force to a selective few so they can continue to police the galaxy to fit their morals and values?
I love the gray area of Star Wars.
And I hope we get to explore that more.
So if you're curious about the show, just watch it.
It doesn't hurt that Manny Jacinto and Amandla Stenberg are fantastic in this (and eye candy).
